One of SIL's projects in Rwanda is to help develop Kinyarwanda based resources to support understanding the historical and cultural background of the Bible.  SIL's International Media Services team has developed a set of Bible Background Video resources and the team working with Inuma Y'amahoro has begun to translate and produce the videos from this series.

SIL staff are also engaged in developing a Bible Dictionary in Kinyarwanda to support the theological education of church leaders across Rwanda.  Most education takes place in English and most ministry takes place in Kinyarwanda.  This resource will serve as a reference tool for church leaders and lay persons as they study the Bible and seek to apply it to their lives.  Bridgeway Publications has partnered with us to give us the rights to translate the Bridgeway Bible Dictionary into Kinyarwanda.  Currently we are producing a sample dictionary for use with stakeholders.  If you are interested in this project, please contact us at the email address listed on the homepage.
